Roasted Cauliflower Steak - Purely Essential

Fresh Cauliflower, washed with Purely Essential then sliced and roasted makes a great steak

Making cauliflower steak is very easy. Simply wash with Purely Essential fruit and vegetable wash, slice, season, and roast in a hot oven. It’s easy peasy.


  • 2 medium heads of cauliflower, wash and pat dry
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped


  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with foil.
  • Wash the cauliflower heads with Purely Essential Fruit and Vegetable Wash, trim the outer leaves and trim stem end until you can set the cauliflower flat on the cutting board.
  • Slice into 3/4-inch-thick slices. The outer slices will likely fall apart – save florets for other recipe or a veggie tray. Plan on getting 3 cauliflower steaks from each cauliflower head.
  • Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with the olive oil. Sprinkle with the seasonings.
  • Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake 15 minutes.
  • Carefully turn, and bake 15 more minutes, until browned and fork-tender.
  • Sprinkle parsley on top during last 5-10 minutes of roasting.
